Another set of bylaws connected to the adoption of the 2013 budget in North Battleford have now received final approval from city council.
The bylaws to amend the waterworks system bylaw and the sewerage system bylaw passed third reading and were signed and sealed Monday.
The two bylaws set the water and sewer rates, which will both see increases of 6.9 per cent as approved previously during budget deliberations.
Both bylaws passed by a 5-1 vote. Councillor Trent Houk, who had previously voted against adoption of the budget, stayed true to form by casting the lone vote against each bylaw.
