The North Battleford RCMP detachment responded to more than 33 calls for service between 6 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, including two Child Welfare Act calls and one false alarm.
Tuesday
8:09 a.m. - Complaint of theft of water shoes from a local business. Still under investigation.
8:32 a.m. - Complaint from a local business that a vehicle parked in their lot overnight was damaged.
8:48 a.m. - Complaint of theft of a bottle of pop from a local business. Still under investigation.
11:06 a.m. - Complaint of possible impaired driving. Patrols made and the vehicle was not located.
3:18 p.m. - Complaint from a local grocery store of four young people stealing food. Three of the four individuals fled on foot, one was held at the store for police attendance.
3:33 p.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated woman harassing patrons for money at a local business. Member attended and spoke with the woman to find that she was not intoxicated just rude. She was told to leave and warned by the Member.
4:14 p.m. - Complaint of a minor non-injury two-vehicle collision on Heritage Way.
5:34 p.m. - Complaint of a person reported missing. Last seen the night before. Still under investigation.
6:07 p.m. - Complaint of intoxicated man outside a business on 101st Street. Members attended and arrested the man for being intoxicated in public and lodged him until sober.
6:35 p.m. - Complaint of assault at an address on 108th Street. Still under investigation.
6:58 p.m. - Assistance to Bylaw Officer with the arrest and lodging of an intoxicated man on 99th Street.
7:03 p.m. - Complaint of harassing text messages.
7:42 p.m. - Complaint of suspicious vehicle that's been parked outside an address on 102nd Street for five days. Members attended and verified ownership and compliance with parking bylaw.
7:51 p.m. - Complaint of a disturbance at an address on 106th Street. Still under investigation.
7:55 p.m. - Intoxicated man located in alleyway. Arrested and lodged for being intoxicated in public.
8:25 p.m. - Intoxicated woman located on 101st Street. Arrested and lodged for being intoxicated in public.
9:35 p.m. - Complaint of suspicious people in an alley behind 105th Street.
9:47 p.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated woman at an address on 106th Street.
9:52 p.m. - Assistance to hospital in locating a patient that left the hospital before treatment was complete. The woman was located and returned to the hospital.
10:52 p.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated man on 100th Street, arrested and lodged until sober.
11:23 p.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated woman passed out behind a local business. Members attended and the woman was arrested/lodged until sober.
11:53 p.m. - Complaint of assault. Still under investigation.
Wednesday
12:05 a.m. - Complaint of theft of beer from a local licensed premise. Members attended and arrested an intoxicated man in relation to the theft and lodged till sober.
1:07 a.m. - Complaint of a vehicle stopping at an address on 95th Street and occupants knocking on the windows at the residence. This occurred repeatedly. Members made patrols of the area. Results negative.
1:41 a.m. - Complaint of people attempting to break into vehicle's on 105th Street. Patrols made of the area. Results negative.
1:58 a.m. - Complaint of people attempting to break into vehicle's on Scott Drive. Patrols made of the area results negative.
3:02 a.m. - Complaint of break and enter into an address on 114th Street. Still under investigation.
5:46 a.m. - Breach of court conditions, one woman arrested for being in violation of a court order. Arrested, lodged and released for court.
