Hafford Communities in Bloom plans to purchase flowers for planters and hanging baskets along Main Street with funds raised at a pancake breakfast Feb. 12.
Mike Wintonyk won the draw for a gift basket valued at $250 and Anne Bezmutko won the 50/50 draw.
Another fundraising initiative is bloomer sales. Bloomers can be purchased for $1 at Canada Post, Redberry Pharmacy and Innovation Credit Union. Proceeds will support the CIB Committee's efforts to beautify Hafford.
Efforts of the group to complete the First Impressions Park at the end of Main Street are moving forward and useful input was received through a public survey.
The committee, which meets on the third Monday of every month at 7 p.m. at the seniors' centre, welcomes new members.
