WPD Ambulance North Battleford has announced the addition of Dr. Mehboob as their medical director for the North Battleford area.
According to a press release, this appointment is part to the Continuing Quality Assurance Program at WPD Ambulance.
Dr. Mehboob has been practising medicine for more than 22 years. In addition to his family practice in the Battlefords area, Dr. Mehboob is also an emergency room physician at Battlefords Union Hospital.
Dr. Mehboob will be providing medical oversight in the development and administration for WPD Ambulance. He will provide system quality improvement and assurance along with medical leadership, system oversight and identification and implementation of best practices for WPD Ambulance, according to the press release.
Walter P. Dutchak, general manager of WPD Ambulance, says he is pleased to have Dr. Mehboob involved with the Quality Assurance Program.
"He is a well-respected medical practitioner in the North Battleford area and we are pleased to be working with him. His expertise will help us monitor and make improvements to our pre-hospital care, after all, patient care is our number one priority".
