Youth caught breaking into business

Battlefords RCMP responded to approximately30 calls for service in the city of North Battleford between 6 a.m. Monday, March 31 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 1. Monday 6:37 a.m. - Report of a man who called 911 in search of his spouse.

Battlefords RCMP responded to approximately30 calls for service in the city of North Battleford between 6 a.m. Monday, March 31 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 1.

Monday

6:37 a.m. - Report of a man who called 911 in search of his spouse. Was educated on the proper use of the 911 system.

7:23 a.m. - Report of a break and enter on 106th Street in North Battleford. A male youth broke into Lambs Door Service, was confronted by employees and fled. Was located by employees and held until the arrival of the police. Young male charged and compelled to court. Still under investigation.

8:46 a.m. - Report of theft from a motor vehicle on Kildeer Drive. GPS missing from a vehicle. No damage to vehicle and nothing further missing. Still under investigation.

8:59 a.m. - Report of threatening phone calls made to 911. Police involved. No threats made. Parties simply arguing over marital breakdown. No further action.

9:49 a.m. - Report of missing children. Investigation revealed that parents could not reach children by phone. Determined telephone was not working. Children at school and are fine.

12:20 p.m. - Report of a motor vehicle accident on Territorial Drive at 100th Street. Still under investigation.

1:21 p.m. - Report of a call to 911. Appears that the caller received a message from the local detachment, and misunderstood the contents of the message, so called 911.

2:54 p.m. - Report of a vehicle stop on 13th Avenue at 110 Street. Driver operating vehicle without registration. Charged. Still under investigation.

2:55 p.m. - Report of a man in a blue van bearing Quebec plates selling stereo equipment from the back of the van. Caller believes this to be suspicious. Members dispatched. Still under investigation.

3:21 p.m. - Report from a concerned driver stating that a woman was texting and driving and all over the road. Children in the back seat. Caller concerned for the well-being of the occupants of the vehicle. Members dispatched. Still under investigation.

3:48 p.m. - Report of an intoxicated and belligerent man yelling on 100 Street. Not located on initial patrol but similar call to the Keg Room, where subject located, arrested and held until sober

4:11 p.m. - Report of intoxicated man at the Keg Room causing trouble. Members dispatched and man located. Still under investigation.

4:19 p.m. - Report received pertaining to a child welfare concern. Members dispatched. Still under investigation.

4:34 p.m. - Report of a 911 hang up call from the pay phone at Foodland. Patrol made. Unfounded.

4:58 p.m. - Report of an alarm at Envirosafe Chemicals. Patrols made. Alarm deemed to be false.

5:50 p.m. - Report of an intoxicated man at a residence. Patrols made. Man deemed to be a visitor to the residence. Concluded.

6:24 p.m. - Report of an intoxicated man at a residence being belligerent. Occupants of the residence want man removed. Members attend and remove man. Concluded.

6:33 p.m. - Report of a missing youth from the Comp high school. Members dispatched. Still under investigation.

7:54 a.m. - Report of an intoxicated man at a residence on St. Laurent Drive. Members attend to determine man not intoxicated, but was arrested on outstanding warrants.

8:55 p.m. - Report of suspicious man in a blue Dodge Charger with no license plates on Ross Crescent. Patrols made. Vehicle or persons not located.

9:32 p.m. - Report of mischief to a vehicleo n 104th Street. Members attended. Still under investigation.

10:23 p.m. - Members attend apartment on 110 Street to keep the peace as landlord evicting a tenant. All transpired without incident.

11:21 p.m. - Report of intoxicated persons in residence at Trudeau Street. Patrol made. All good.

11:52 p.m. - Report of suspicious persons at 16th Avenue and 104th Street. Patrols made. Persons not located.

April 1, 2014

12:32 a.m. - Report of erratic driver on Douglas Avenue. Immediate patrols made. No vehicles located.

12:55 a.m. - 911 call from an upset man. Call disconnected. Members still investigating.

1:03 a.m. - Report of an intoxicated woman attempting to force her way into a residence on 110 Street. Did not gain entry. Left of foot. Members attended to locate and return her to her residence.

1:30 a.m. - Report of a number of intoxicated men hanging around 711.Patrol made and men had left. Concluded.

1:50 a.m. - Members attended a residence on 104 Street to conduct a welfare check on occupant. All ok.

2:31 a.m. - Report of an intoxicated woman causing problems in a residence on 110 Street. Patrols made. Still under investigation.
