Approximately 35 calls for service were made to the North Battleford RCMP between 6 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 21 and 6 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22.
There were two Mental Health Act occurrences, four false or nuisance 911 calls and one call relating to the Child Welfare Act.
Thursday
7:55 a.m. - Complaint of two intoxicated people refusing to leave an address on 106th Street. Members attended the address and arrested the two people, lodging until sober.
9:00 a.m. - Complaint of break and enter into an address on 98th Street. When told to leave by the complainant, the man refused and pushed her. He fled on foot before police arrived. Still under investigation.
9:49 a.m. - Complaint of uttering threats via text message over something that had been posted on Facebook. Still under investigation.
11:59 a.m. - Complaint of damage to a vehicle while parked on 100th Street.
12:01 p.m. - Complaint of a male youth threatening to harm his step-father with brass knuckles at a local business. The youth fled from the business and was not located by police. Charges will be laid in regards to this incident.
1:36 p.m. - Complaint of an unwanted man at an address on 101st Street. This incident is related to an assault from a previous date. Members attended, located and arrested the man in relation to the assault.
2:02 p.m. - Intoxicated man located and arrested as in a public place. Released once sober.
2:30 p.m. - Complaint of three people entering a storage unit behind a local business. Located bymembers and one arrested for causing a disturbance and lodged until sober.
4:16 p.m. - Complaint from a local licensed premise that two intoxicated people entered and the complainant would like them to be removed. Members attended and both were arrested for being intoxicated in a public place and lodged until sober.
4:28 p.m. - Complaint of a break and enter into a shed at an address on 91st Street. The break in occurred sometime the previous day. The lock was broken and it is unknown at this time if anything was taken.
5:22 p.m. - Complaint of three intoxicated people outside a local business causing a disturbance. Patrols were made, results negative.
6:54 p.m. - Ongoing dispute between two people reported to police. This matter was deemed not to be a police matter.
6:30 p.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated man passed out on 103rd Street. Arrested and lodged until sober.
6:50 p.m. - Complaint that a motorist on Territorial Drive threw an item from their vehicle at a person on a bicycle. Attempts made to locate the suspect vehicle were negative.
7:39 p.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated man passed out in the yard of an address on 109th Street. Man was located by members and driven to an address where a responsible adult agreed to look after the man.
9:07 p.m. - Complaint of traffic hazard on Highway 16 entering North Battleford. Patrols were made, results negative.?
9:20 p.m. - Complaint of people partying in complainant's apartment while she was away.
9:30 p.m. - Assistance to bylaw officer with the arrest and lodging of an intoxicated female on 100th Street.
11:23 p.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated woman at the Agrivilla. Members attended and arrested the female youth for being intoxicated in a public place. The youth was lodged until her legal guardian was able to attend and pick her up.
11:32 p.m. - Complaint of a disturbance at an apartment building on 106th Street. Members attended and mediated the disagreement. All parties agreed to sober up and leave each other alone. No further calls to this address.
11:59 p.m. - Complaint of a single-vehicle collision on Territorial Drive near 19th Avenue. Members attended and issued the driver a ticket and 24-hour driving suspension.
Friday
1:42 a.m. - Complaint of people trying to break into a garage at an address on 101st Street. Members made extensive patrols but were unable to locate the two people responsible. No entry gained and no damage to property.
2:10 a.m. - Complaint of a possible impaired driver leaving a licensed premise on 100th Street. Members located the vehicle and attempted to initiate a road-side stop and the vehicle fled from police. The licence plate had been expired for over a year and the occupants could not be identified.
3:39 a.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated man at an address on 105th Street. Members attended and were advised the male stole a pair of shoes and a cellphone. A foot chase ensued and the man was apprehended. The property was returned to owner and the man lodged until sober. No charges were laid at the request of the complainant.
5:16 a.m. - Complaint of noise coming from JPII High School.
