The Battleford Midgets and the Unity Bantam Panthers are tied on top of the Battlefords Ladies Fastball League standings two weeks into the season.
Battleford is 2-0 to start the season. The Unity Bantams are both 2-1.
Battleford started a season with an 18-13 victory against the Survivors May 12. The midget squad followed the victory by beating the Maidstone Midgets 24-0 May 14.
The Unity Bantams opened the season with a 24-7 win over the Maidstone Midgets May 12. The Panthers then dropped a game May 14, losing to the Survivors 18-11. The Unity Bantams won again May 26, defeating the Edam Ladies 8-5.
In other action, the Unity Midgets beat the Edam Ladies 18-6 May 12. The Maidstone Ladies picked up their first win of the season, downing Edam 17-9 May 14. A week later, Maidstone played to a 7-7 tie against the Survivors.
Games were rained out May 19.
Monday, the Unity Midgets picked up their second win of the season, beating the Maidstone Ladies 8-3.
