4-H members aim for the button

Tournament action is starting to heat up at the Northland Power Curling Centre. The most recent event was the Regional 4-H Bonspiel on the weekend. First place for senior division went to District 36 Meadow Lake/Pierceland 4-H Beef Clubs.

First place for senior division went to District 36 Meadow Lake/Pierceland 4-H Beef Clubs. The team's skip was Matt Holba along with third Warren Fink, second Sara Wilson and lead Jade Shkopich.

Second place went to District 30 Unity Multiple 4-H, which was skipped by Kayla VanDeMeutter. The other team members were third Robyn Sperle, second Megan Babchuk and lead Emma Greenwood.

District 33 Canwood Multiple 4-H took third place honours with skip Makayla Stieb, third Dylan Saam-Deer, second Rylee Aiken, lead Ryan Aiken and spare Dallis Aiken.

At the junior level, first place went to District 33. Brody Cyr was the team's skip with Delayne Aiken the third, Demery Bischler second, Payten Keyowski lead and spares Robyn Forbes and Hayleigh Kunard.

Second place was District 30 skipped by Cyane Sperle. The Unity team's third was Caitlyn Ireland, second was Dawson Ireland and lead was Reece Gilbert.

Third in the junior level went to District 34 Country Corners Multiple 4-H, the local club. The team was made up of skip Zack Weber, third Danika Guggenberger and lead Aunica Guggenberger.
