The Battlefords AAA Sharks were eliminated from SFMAAAHL playoffs after falling to the Rebels in Regina 10-0 Sunday afternoon.
The Rebels won the best-of-five series 3-0.
Regina scored four times in the first period. Emma Waldenberger had two goals in the period. Lilla Carpenter-Boesch and Chelsea Perepeluk also scored in the first for the Rebels.
In the second, the Rebels added four more goals. Waldenberger completed her hat trick with a goal in the period. Lilla and Jylelle Carpenter-Boesch and Andie Wilyman found the back of the net in the second to make it an 8-0 game after two periods.
Sharks goaltender Rachel Mitchell did not start the third period. She made 17 saves in the first two frames.
The third period saw Erica Rieder and Jylelle Carpenter-Boesch beat back-up goaltender Jamie Powers to wrap up the scoring. Powers made nine saves in the period for the Sharks.
Regina netminder Tatum Shand picked up the shutout by making 13 saves on the afternoon.
