Curling fans who may have delayed buying their tickets for the Pinty's Grand Slam of Curling's Meridian Canadian Open at the North Battleford Civic Centre are in luck.
It was announced this morning that 50 additional seats are now avaliable for purchase for each draw of the event, which begins Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The additional tickets were released after it was discovered that sight lines would allow for more seats to be avaliable after the Civic Centre was prepare for the event and was setup for broadcast purposes.
In other news, Weekend Draw passes for the event were nearly sold out as of Sunday.
Those looking to purchase tickets can do so online at gsoc.goigniter.com or by calling the Battlefords North Stars office at 306-445-7827.
Tickets can also be purchased at the North Stars office from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday or at the Civic Centre box office prior to each draw.
