Annaheim Rebels heading to 1A Boys' Provincials

The Annaheim Rebels are off to Provincials. The senior boys' volleyball team from Annaheim won a berth to Provincials at the 1A boys' regional tournament they hosted November 17.

The Annaheim Rebels are off to Provincials.
The senior boys' volleyball team from Annaheim won a berth to Provincials at the 1A boys' regional tournament they hosted November 17.
The Rebels won both their games in Pool A - 25-8 and 25-8 over Gronlid in two sets, and 25-14, 25-11 over Nakoda Oyade in two sets - early in the day to advance to the playdowns that evening.
They won in two sets - 25-12 and 25-15 over Broadview, the No. 2-ranked team from Pool B, then moved on to face Nakoda Oyade in the regional final.
Annaheim again won two sets to none - 25-13 and 25-17 - to claim their berth.
Nakoda Oyade will also attend Provincials, as will the team from Bellevue, who won third place in the tournament over Broadview, two sets to none.
The Englefeld Eagles also attended the Regional tournament in Annaheim. but lost both of their pool games to Broadview - two sets to none - and to Bellevue - also two sets to none.
The three teams will travel to Medstead this weekend to compete in the 1A Boys' Volleyball 2012 Saskatchewan High School Athletics Association (SHSAA) Provincial Volleyball Championships.
