Players from Medstead, Glaslyn and the Battlefords joined forces along with two new coaches to the U18 boy's club volleyball program, as the Battleford Ballistics finished an impressive season last month.

The boys wrapped up the year at provincials in Saskatoon. They started the weekend off in the right direction and placed first in their pool. After being re-pooled, the Ballistics went up against some of the province's top teams, and battled to finish in the middle of the standings once the playoffs concluded.

The Ballistics finished eighth in the province after a great season led by coaches Denai and Krista Wouters.

The Ballistics played in other tournaments throughout the season in Moose Jaw, Regina, the Battlefords, as well as the Sask Cup. One of the highlights of the season was winning silver at their home tournament.

Along with the successful season of the Battleford team, one Battlefords player in the same division joined forces with the Saskatoon Court Marshals. Kyle Sabraw and the Court Marshals won the U18 provincial tournament while Sabraw was one of two players on his team named to the tournament all-star team.
