The Stars played their second of back-to-back games Sunday afternoon in Notre Dame.
After dropping their first tilt to the Argos, the Hounds got the best of them today, 3-2.
Leading scorer Owen Lamb found the score sheet once again, kick-starting the offence in the opening frame with a goal from Tanner Brewster and Keelan Saworski. The tally was his fifth of the season, giving him thirteen points.
Notre Dame’s Lucas Fraulin scored his eighth and ninth of the campaign in the same period, the latter coming with one second left, while short-handed.
The AAA Stars tallied one more goal from Tyson Meyers, but it wouldn’t be enough as they dropped their fifth in a row.
Their record now sits at 6-9-0-2.
The Stars will be looking for revenge next Saturday and Sunday, drawing the same matchup against the teams from Notre Dame, this time at the Civic Centre.
