Blue Mountain hosted a major event on the Biathlon calendar Feb. 16 and 17, they hosted the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation Western Canadian Championships, attracting biathlon participants from across Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Alberta.
Results from the Sprint Race category from Feb. 16 were as follows, featuring start times, finish times and actual times for the top finishers in each category:
Development boys: first - Austin Ellis Biathlon Saskatchewan 0:19:25, second - Ross Greenfield Biathlon Saskatchewan 0:19:34 and third - Dayan Perry Biathlon Saskatchewan 0:19:56
Midget boys: first - Erik Cislo Edmonton Nordic Ski Club 0:16:25 and second - Evan Bykowy Biathlon Saskatchewan 0:19:30.
Juvenile boys: first - Sean McLean Foothills Nordic 0:15:17, second - Sam Poon Edmonton Nordic Ski Club 0:15:57 and third - Devin Saunders Foothills Nordic 0:17:15.
