The Brodsky family, current owners of the Saskatoon Blades, is fielding offers from potential buyers and has been for the past few weeks.
According to a press release there have been several offers. The Brodsky's have been in consultation with the Western Hockey League to assess whether any current offers meet the necessary requirements to complete a deal.
Blades fans don't have to worry about losing the team. The release says future owners must be dedicated to keeping the franchise in Saskatoon and, "Ensuring that a high quality major junior hockey club is maintained in the city."
Proposals from interested buyers are being reviewed and an announcement will be made if one is accepted by the Brodskys.
The owners weren't making any further comments.
