Some teams are already at the halfway point of their schedules while others are just digging in, but the North Saskatchewan River Baseball League standings are now starting to take shape.

Tuesday in Lloydminster, the Wilkie Brewers beat the Midwest Expos 19-3. The Brewers scored eight runs in the first inning and didn't look back as Robert Cey earned the win after pitching four innings. Barrett Nielsen allowed one run while closing out the fifth inning.

Wilkie had offensive contributions from their entire lineup, but it was Nick Pernitsky and Russ Nielsen hitting solo home runs.

Also Tuesday evening, the Lloydminster Meridian Twins beat the Unity Midgets 11-0 to reaming undefeated this season.

Wednesday, the Lloydminster Junior Redhawks won their second game of the season with a 5-2 win over the Unity Cardinals.

The Meadow Lake Sox got back to their winning ways with a 5-1 win over the Border City Blue Jays.

The Lloydminster Midgets won 2-1 over the Standard Hill Lakers to improve to 2-2 on the season.

There are four games on the league schedule for Thursday, two on Friday, two Sunday and two Monday.
