The Humboldt Broncos split back-to-back games in Flin Flon over the weekend, losing 3-2 on Nov. 8 before beating the Bombers 3-0 the following night.

After traveling all the way from Humboldt, the Broncos dropped the first game despite out shooting the Bombers 42-29. Logan Sproule and Cody Pongracz for Humboldt, but the Broncos trailed 3-1 heading into the final period. Cade Spencer appeared in net for the Broncos and stopped 26 of 29 shots.


The next night the Broncos again out shot the Bombers, 38-22, but this time it paid off in a win. Ryan Aubertin opened the scoring late in the first period, followed by Stumborg and Matt McLeod, who scored less than two minutes apart in the second period.

Ryland Pashovitz recorded his third shutout of the season and continues to impress. Despite appearing in only six games so far this season, Pashovitz has recorded the most shutouts in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. He also has the highest save percentage (.967) and the lowest goals against average (0.99).
