The Humboldt Broncos scored early and often as they routed the Yorkton Terriers 10-2 in Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League action in Humboldt on Nov. 10.
The Broncos wasted little time getting on the board as Conner Lukan scored his fourth goal of the season just 15 seconds in.
The Terriers responded shortly after as Kyle Sargent scored his first of the season at 1:49.
The frenetic pace to the first continued as Xavier Labelle scored his first of the season to give the Broncos a 2-1 lead, as the two teams combined for three goals in the first 3:18.
Logan Hunter added his first of the night on the power play at 6:18 as the Broncos took a 3-1 lead into the first intermission.
The second period was all Broncos as they added four more goals off the sticks of Derek Patter, Matthieu Gomercic, Tyler Smith, and Ryan Straschnitzki to take a 7-1 lead into the third period.
The final period followed a similar script to the first two periods as the Broncos scored three more times as Jaxon Joseph, Logan Boulet, and Hunter all found the back of the net to extend the lead to 10-1.
The Terriers would add a late goal but it was not enough as the Broncos skated away with the 10-2 win.
Sam-Jaxon Visscher picked up the win in the Broncos goal turning aside 26 of the 28 shots he faced as the Broncos outshot the Terriers 57-28.
