In six days, nine Saskatchewan Prairie Hockey League games were played and the big winners of last week were the Maymont Settlers.
The Settlers won all three of three games including a 12-1 win Friday over Perdue, 4-2 win in Cut Knife and an 11-3 win over Hafford.
Kyle Litchenwald and Vince Sauvie led the Settlers offence attack. Litchenwald had six goals and seven assists while Sauvie had five goals and eight assists.
Spencer Laycock was in net for two of the three Maymont wins while Matt Leitner earned the win over Hafford.
Maymont moved into third place in the league standings and are just a point back of Cut Knife for second place.
Cut Knife earned two crucial wins on the week, as they beat the Beaver Blues 4-2 in Battleford Tuesday and Hafford 5-2 Friday.
Dallas Sperle continues to be the Colts' backbone, as he earned both wins in net for Cut Knife.
Like Cut Knife, Spiritwood also went 2-1 on the week and still hold the top spot in the SPHL.
Tuesday, Spiritwood went into Glaslyn and won 6-2.
Saturday, Hafford hosted Spiritwood and beat them 3-2. Andrew Kitch and Patrick Gauthier each had a goal and an assist for Hafford while Ryan Scheafer had the other goal for the Mustangs.
Friday, Spiritwood beat Radisson 6-4. Kyle Brataschuk, and Tyler Gamble each had four points for the Timberwolves while Trevin Hujber, Colten Anderson and Raymond Witchekan recorded multi-point games for Spiritwood.
The other score from the week saw Radisson beat Glaslyn 6-2. Andrew Peeyachew had two goals and two assists for Radisson while Nathan Wurst was in net for the win.
The SPHL team will continue to stay busy, as there are two games scheduled for Friday, three Saturday, one Tuesday and one Wednesday this week.
