Local cross country runners will have to wait a couple of days to take to Finlayson Island.
Due to poor road conditions, Thursday's Battle West District Cross-Country Championships has been postponed.
John Paul II Crusaders head coach Kristina Binette says that the current plan is to hold the meet on Tuesday, weather permitting.
"We will decide on Monday night if we will go ahead on Tuesday," Binette said. "It all depends on the conditions of the trails."
