In the nine North Saskatchewan River Hockey League games played from Wednesday to Sunday, the winning team didn't allow more than three goals in any of the those games.

Saturday, two teams earned shutouts, as Wilkie held St. Walburg off the board with a 3-0 win and Turtleford blanked Paradise Hill 12-0. The other game Saturday had Meadow Lake beat Maidstone 4-3.

Friday, Wilkie beat Maidstone 5-3 at home to move up in the standings while Edam won 7-2 over Spiritwood and Turtleford beat Paradise Hill 5-2.

Wednesday, Wilkie won 4-3 over Edam and Meadow Lake walloped Paradise Hill 10-3.

The other score from the week had Turtleford beat Spiritwood 5-3 on Sunday.

Tutleford's recent hot streak has moved them into fifth place in the standings and jumping over Edam. St. Walburg still leads the league with a 14-2-0 record. Meadow Lake is nipping at their heels with a 13-2-1 record. Wilkie passed Maidstone in the standings last week and hold the third spot with a 10-6-0 record.
