The John Paul II Crusaders junior boys basketball team defeated the North Battleford Comprehensive High Vikings 50-35 Feb. 8 to become the Battle West District Champions for the 2013-14 season. Jacob Stynsky and Narcisse Ilunga led the game in points for the Crusaders with 15 and 13 points respectively. Garret Beatch and Tyler Benoit stepped up and played phenomenal defence to contribute to the Crusader victory.
