The John Paul II Crusaders and Martensville Royals will be squaring off for the third time this season Saturday.

Only this time, a loss will mean an end to one of their seasons.

The two sides will meet up at Crusader Field at 1 p.m. in a nine-man playoff game that will determine which team will advance to the provincial quarter-finals.

The Crusaders have won both meetings this year over the Royals.

They picked up a 28-21 victory on Sept. 28 in Martensville and followed that up with a 19-7 triumph on Thursday afternoon in North Battleford.
