Here is a rundown of weekend action from the North Saskatchewan River Hockey League.

Friday night's action saw the St. Walburg Eagles bomb the Meadow Lake Stampeders by a 6-0 score. Goals by Trevor Bailey, Jordan Fuder, Sheldon Williamson, and Brady Zerr, and two goals by Curtis Zerr, led the way for the Eagles at home.

The following night the Eagles made short work of the Maidstone Jets by a 6-2 final. Two goals each by Trevor Bailey and Darren Delainey led the way for the Eagles.

Two goals in the third period helped the Wilkie Outlaws break it open at home Saturday night against the Edam 3 Stars, winning 6-2. Barrett Penner scored twice to lead the way for the winning Outlaws.

Meanwhile on Saturday the Meadow Lake Stampeders recovered from their previous night's shellacking, coming back from a 1-0 deficit to score three in the second and three in the third period to blast Turtleford Tigers at home 6-2. Darren Caron and Calvin Fiddler scored two each for Meadow Lake in the victory.

Turtleford was scheduled to host St. Walburg Wednesday. In upcoming games, Friday night action sees Wilkie in Turtleford and Edam in Maidstone, with Maidstone travelling to Wilkie on Saturday.
