Qualifying for quad events are senior boys and girls: Justin Scott of Turtleford, Jacqueline Toews of Glaslyn and Damon Schaefer and Brooke Roach of Edam.
Results of the 4 X 100 metre relay, in order of finish: senior boys - Edam, Paradise Hill, Turtleford, Glaslyn; senior girls - Edam, Turtleford; junior girls - Edam, St. Walburg, Turtleford; midget boys - Edam, Turtleford, Glaslyn; midget girls, Edam, Paradise Hill, Turtleford; bantam boys - Edam, St. Walburg, Paradise Hill, Turtleford, Glaslyn; bantam girls - Turtleford, Edam, St. Walburg, Glaslyn, Paradise Hill. In junior boys Turtleford was first, running against Edam who had only three runners.
In the 4 X 400 metre relay, Edam was first and Turtleford second in both senior boys and senior girls.
Point totals were: Edam - 910, Turtleford - 452, Paradise Hill - 420, St. Walburg - 260, Glaslyn - 222 and Thunderchild - 148. These totals do not have the relay points added in.
The first and second place finishers moved onto the district meet in Meadow Lake May 29. Congratulations to the athletes on a job well done and hats off to the staff and volunteers who make the day the success that it always is.
