New Horizons' hottest curling team in the first half of the season includes Wally Bayne (second), Joe Schmidt (lead), Tom Foster (third) and skip Rod Forester.

Coming down to the wire for the New Horizon Fall curling schedule there is no doubt who the winning team is.

Rod Forester goes undefeated through the first nine draws. It is interesting to note that in all those games there were two teams that had him scratching his head.

First, Doreen Dudek made him throw his final stone to win that game, then Dec. 11, Allie Raycraft had his team down six zip after the second end and she came close to winning with her final rock. Doreen, by the way, made a draw to the four to score three and win, her first of the season. The other winner in the morning draw was the Gregoire rink.

While the storm was raging outside, Kargaard got his second win in the afternoon draw; as well it saw Rogers, Horrell and Scott chalk up two points. The final draw before the shuffle of teams is Dec. 18. Then Jan. 3 we will find out who is playing with whom.
