In Maymont, the second place Settlers, who were 14-3-0-0 on the season hosted the last place Cut Knife Colts. The Colts were 4-13-0-0 during the regular season, but all that was forgotten Wednesday, as they Colts won 5-3.

The series shifts back to Cut Knife Friday and if the series goes the distance, game three will be played Sunday in Maymont.

Wednesday, the third place Glaslyn North Stars faced the sixth place Hafford Mustangs and it was the Mustangs winning 3-1 on the road.

Glalslyn was 12-5-0-0 on the season while Hafford went 6-11-0-0.

Game two will be played Friday in Hafford and, if needed, game three is scheduled for Saturday in Glaslyn.

The fourth place Perdue Pirates and fifth place Radisson Wheat Kings will begin their playoff series Friday in Perdue with game two Saturday in Radisson and, if necessary, game three will be played Sunday.

In the final weekend of the SPHL season, Maymont beat Cut Knife 11-7, Hafford downed Battleford 8-3, Glalsyn beat Perdue 7-2 and Hafford edged Perdue 8-7 in overtime.
