The Minnesota State Mavericks season came to an end Saturday, as they fell 4-0 to the fifth ranked Miami RedHawks.

The Mavericks failed to earn an automatic berth in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's hockey tournament, but were selected to the regional championship the weekend prior.

The Mavericks rosters includes Battleford product Bryce Gervais, who was a freshman with the team this season and played in all 41 games.

Gervais finishes his freshman season with eight goals and five assists and was the fourth highest scoring rookie on the Mavericks rosters this season.
