Monday afternoon the course was busy with nearly a dozen people at the driving range and this group of four one of many out on the course ready to start the season.

The North Battleford Golf and Country Club was the place to be on the weekend and weather permitting it will be the place to be for the next four months.

The course came through the winter quite well according to Dana Johnson, North Battleford Golf and Country Club's director of golf.

The golf club opened last week and Tuesday morning, carts were aloud on the course and Johnson said later in the week all the tee off boxes should be in use. All par threes had temporary tees for the first week of the season.

The North Battleford Golf and Country Club will once again be a busy place this weekend, as the welcome back night is scheduled for Friday and the spring scramble is set for Saturday and Sunday. Anyone interested in playing in the scramble needs to be paid up by Thursday so teams can be made for the weekend.

This season marks the first full season of the new sprinkler system installed and hidden on all holes.

Along with stopping by the pro shop, anyone interested in information about lessons, tee times, tournaments or anything else about the North Battleford Golf and Country Club can check out the website at www.northbattlefordgolf.com.
