Both the senior boys and girls' basketball teams from Humboldt Collegiate Institute have advanced to the regional championships.
The boys will move on after finishing second at the conference tournament held at Saskatoon Christian School. They opened their tournament by defeating the host team from Saskatoon Christian before falling in the final, 66-55 to the top ranked team from Clavet. The boys will open the 3A regional tournament on March 7 against Unity. The game will be held at 6:15 p.m. in Indian Head.
The girls team advanced to the 4A regional tournament after hosting the conference tournament at HCI. They will open regionals against Prince Albert Carlton on March 7 at 8 p.m. The game will be held in Warman.
