HGC hosts provincial tournament

Despite a wet, cool summer, golfers congregating in Humboldt on the weekend had great weather when they took to the links.

Despite a wet, cool summer, golfers congregating in Humboldt on the weekend had great weather when they took to the links.
The Humboldt Golf Club hosted the 2010 Saskatchewan High Schools Athletic Association Grass Greens Golf Provincial Championship September 24-25. Over 130 golfers from across the province competed in the tournament, including 82 male golfers, 15 male teams, 53 female golfers, and eight female teams. The golfers shot 36 holes over two days.
Among those competing were male teams from Humboldt and Wynyard, along with golfers from Lanigan, LeRoy, and Bellevue.
The top three finalists in each category, along with golfers from the Humboldt region are listed below with their school and scores.
