Notes from the week in high school sports:
The HCI boys' golf team took home the bronze medal at the provincial championships in Goodsoil on Sept. 27-28. The team members were Jett Tuchsherer, Tayden Wallin, Spencer Hill and Matthew Sokolan.
The senior girls volleyball team won the gold medal at a one-day tournament in Tisdale on Sept. 28. They defeated Naicam in the finals.
The football team lost to Clavet 6-2 in a low scoring affair on Sept. 26. They will have a chance to redeem themselves with their first night game of the season on Oct. 3 when they host Melfort at 7 p.m.
