Graham Hildebrand once again was mentioned in the SJHL player of the week honours. Hildebrand, who was named the goaltender of the month early this week for October, was an honourable mention for goaltender of the week.
Unity's Jesse Ehnisz, who patrols the Melfort net, was named the goaltender of the week with a 1.86 goals against average and a .940 save percentage during his two starts.
Warren Shymko of Yorkton and Devin Buffalo of Flin Flon were the other honourable mentions in the goalie category.
The player of the week was Estevan's Dylan Smith, as he recorded five goals and four assists in three games. Smith's teammate and former North Star Calder Neufeld was an honourable mention along with Jesse Ross and Coltyn Sanderson of Weyburn and Andrew Johnston of Humboldt.
Matthew Backhouse of Humboldt was the defenceman of the week recording four assists in three games. Former North Star Dominic Perrault, who is now with Estevan, Melfort's Carter Berg and Melville's Brett Kipling were the honourable mentions for the week of Nov. 1 to 7.
