June 13North Saskatchewan River Baseball League continues with St. Walburg at home to Meadow Lake at 6:30 p.m.
June 13Battlefords Ladies' Fastball League continues with the Battlefords Midgets facing the Unity Rustlers, the Northwest Vipers playing the Unity Midgets and the Battlefords Survivors playing Maidstone at the Flats at 7 p.m. In Unity, the Unity Bantams host the Battlefords Bantams.
June 14North Battleford Comprehensive High School will have Rueben Mayes speaking at the school. The school is honouring him by naming the practice field at the high school after him at 2 p.m.
June 14North Saskatchewan River Baseball League has four games on the schedule. Locally, North Battleford hosts the Border City Blue Jays at 7:30 p.m. and at 6:30 p.m. Mervin hosts Wilkie.
June 14Battlefords Senior Men's Soccer League has the Spurs playing MNG at the Flats and Poundmaker playing ACS at Centennial Track at 5:45 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. Deuces play Sweetgrass at the Flats and GBH plays Thunderchild at Centennial Track.
June 14North Saskatchewan River Baseball League has two games on the schedule including a makeup game in Unity between the Cardinals and Meadow Lake.
June 16-17North Battleford Golf and Country Club will host the annual Ladies' Northwest Open. Golfing starts at 10 a.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday.
June 23Battlefords North Stars will be holding their annual Golf Classic at North Battleford Golf and Country Club. Shot gun start for the scramble is 1:30 p.m. Entry fee is $300 per team or $80 per person with a steak supper to follow. Call the team's office at 445-7827 to register.
