The Horizon School Division 2013 Junior Curling District Championships were held February 1 and 2 at the Humboldt Curling Club.

Skip Rebecca Ness of the Humboldt Collegiate Institute's junior girls' curling team is intent on making her shot in the opening end of the A final versus Foam Lake. The HCI team received a first-round bye and then defeated Wadena to advance to the final. Foam Lake squeaked out a one-point win dumping HCI to the B final against Ituna. HCI emerged victorious, thus meeting Foam Lake in the A-B final which Foam Lake won.photo by Rhonda Cooper
