The New Horizons ended the fall schedule Dec. 18 with some interesting games.
It was no surprise the Forester team won their 10th game.
It was the Rogers rink of Louie Uhrmann, Don Beggs and Edgar Phelps who took the second place honours with only two losses. They however were tied at five coming home in the last draw of the day. The Gregoire team almost had a win, and by scoring on only two ends.
The Dudek and Kjargaard rinks had a sea-saw battle with the girls coming out on top.
Next to them saw the Raycraft and Hagen rinks scoring eight each and both ending up smiling.
Belyk was not up to his usual game in the morning draw that saw Horrell give him a sound beating.
Krismer ended the fall session with six on the final end to down Guest.
Then it was Scott over Lambie to end the morning draw.
Interesting to note that it was Forester, Rogers and Scott in that order for the top three; followed by Hagen and Horrell who were tied; then Krismer and Raycraft to rank the top half of the teams. Come January there will be a new alignment with some new names in every position.
Happy New Year to all!
