Local high school teams off to Hoopla

The 1A girls' and 1A boys' regional basketball tournaments were held on March 18-19 at Lake Lenore School. Both Lake Lenore Senior boys' and girls' basketball teams will be heading to Hoopla March 24-26 after winning their tournaments.

The 1A girls' and 1A boys' regional basketball tournaments were held on March 18-19 at Lake Lenore School.
Both Lake Lenore Senior boys' and girls' basketball teams will be heading to Hoopla March 24-26 after winning their tournaments.
The girls won their final game against the Herbert Laurels 68-46. The boys won their game against the Chief Poundmaker Chiefs 71-29.
This is the first time bothe teams will be attending Hoopla at the same time.
The Three Lakes School Avengers senior girls' team will also be attending Hoopla, after a 51-46 vistory over Luseland on March 19.
The Avengers will face Lake Lenore in their opening game at Hoopla at the Moose Jaw Riverview Collegiate gymnasium. The winner of that game will advance to the provincial final against either Central Butte or Frontier.
