Midget AA
It was an up-and-down week for the Midget AA Broncos as they managed just a 1-1 record in two contests.
The Broncos kicked off their week on a high note as they picked up a 5-4 win over Battleford on Jan. 20 in Humboldt.
Damon Vanderlinde led the way offensively for the Broncos scoring three times, while Prescott Senger and Brock Morrow each scored once as the Broncos were tied at one after one, and trailed 2-1 after two.
The Broncos’ end to the week was not a positive one as they were upended 5-3 by North East on Jan. 21 in Nipawin.
Maguire Scheidt, Gavin Ingram, and Brock Morrow each scored once for the Broncos who were tied at one after period one, and led 3-2 after period two.
Midget A
It was an excellent week for the Midget A Broncos as they picked up wins in each of their two contests.
The Broncos kicked off their week with a 4-3 win over Muenster/Lake Lenore on Jan. 20 in Humboldt.
Bray Berschiminsky finished with a game high two goals for the Broncos, while Cody Bergermann and Ethan Beggs each scored once as the Broncos were tied 2-2 after the first, and led 4-2 after the second.
The Broncos wrapped up their week on a high note as they picked up a 5-4 win over Watrous on Jan. 21 in Watson.
Offensively the Broncos enjoyed a balanced attack as Bergermann, Beggs, Luke Stadnyk, Kaleb Pulice, and Lorne Abrey all found the back of the net for the Broncos who were tied 1-1 after one, and trailed 3-2 after two.
Bantam AA
It was a terrific week for the Bantam AA Broncos as they rolled their way to a pair of wins, outscoring the opposition 16-3 in the process.
The Broncos kicked off their week on a extremely high note as they rolled to a 10-2 win over the Regina Aces on Jan. 20 in Humboldt.
Jackson Mark and Easton Ediger each scored twice for the Broncos, while Dawson Barlage, Austin Berezowski, Brody Mortensen, Kaiden Korolchuk, Connor McGrath, and Luke Standyk each scored once as the Broncos led 3-1 after the first, and 7-1 after the second.
The Broncos continued their strong play the following afternoon, where they knocked off the Saskatoon Stallions 6-1 in Humboldt.
Offensively it was a total team effort for the Broncos, as they had goals from six different scorers including Mark, Tyler Lindal, Berezowski, Ediger, Stadnyk, and Noah Barlage.
Bantam A
It was a tough week for the Bantam A Broncos as they dropped each of their two games, being outscored 16-5.
The week got off to an ugly start for the Broncos as they fell 7-2 to Muenster on Jan. 15.
Carter Pavelich led the way offensively for the Broncos scoring twice, as they trailed 2-1 after the first and second periods.
The week did not get any better for the Broncos in their final game of the week as they fell 9-3 to Wynyard on Jan. 21 in Humboldt.
Dominic Weninger, Sean Brochu, and Pavelich each scored once for the Broncos who trailed 3-1 after the first, and 5-1 after the second.
Peewee AA
It was a rough week for the Peewee AA Broncos as they dropped a pair of contests.
The week got off to an ugly start for the Broncos as they were routed 11-1 by Tisdale on Jan. 20 in Tisdale.
Blaise Athmer scored the lone Broncos goal as they trailed 4-0 after the first period, and 8-0 after the second.
The week got better for the Broncos in their final game but they still were unable to come away with the win, falling just short in their comeback bid, losing 7-5 to Prince Albert on Jan. 21 in Humboldt.
Bauer Dumanski led the way offensively for the Broncos scoring three times, while Athmer and Edward Knittig each added a single as the Broncos trailed 3-0 after the first and 7-2 after the second.
Peewee 1
It was a tough week for the Peewee 1 Broncos as they managed just a single win in a trio of contests.
The Broncos kicked off their week on a low note as they were beaten 6-3 by Muenster on Jan. 17 in Muenster.
A.J. Paulsen finished with a team high two goals for the Broncos, while Matthew Solar added the other as the Broncos trailed 2-1 after the first and 4-2 after the second.
The Broncos’ second game of the week was much better for the green and gold as they picked up a 7-5 win over Drake/Nokomis on Jan. 20 in Nokomis.
Abigail Martin led the way offensively for the Broncos scoring three times, while Carson Haugan, Toryn Simoneau, Karver Simoneau, and Aiden Paslowski added singles as the Broncos led 2-1 after one, and 5-4 after two.
Unfortunately for the Broncos their momentum did not carry over into their final game of the week, a 9-4 loss to Wynyard on Jan. 21 in Wynyard.
Karver chipped in with a hat trick for the Broncos, while Solar added the other as the Broncos trailed 7-2 after the first and 8-2 after the second.
Peewee 2
It was not a very good week for the Peewee 2 Broncos who were routed 12-5 by Raymore/Strasbourg on Jan. 21 in Strasbourg.
Liam Reineke led the way offensively for the Broncos scoring three times, while Joe Green and Wyatt Flory added the others as the Broncos were tied at one after period one, and trailed 8-3 after period two.
Novice 2
It was a solid week for the Novice 2 Broncos as they picked up a 9-5 win over Wadena J on Jan. 16 in Watson.
Thadeus Molsberry led the way offensively for the Broncos scoring four times, while Tryce Wallin chipped in with a hat trick, and Darian Nordick and Carter Trann each added a single as the Broncos led 3-0 after the first and 8-1 after the second.
Novice 3
The Novice 3 Broncos wrapped up a perfect week with a 2-0 record thanks to two blow out wins, which saw the Broncos outscore the opposition 35-7.
The Broncos kicked off their week in destructive fashion as they routed Muenster/Lake Lenore B 16-1 on Jan. 20 in LeRoy.
Sloan Harder led the way offensively for the Broncos scoring six times, while Carter Possberg chipped in with five, Grady Clark with two, and Karston Leonard, Nathan Slack, and Andrew Millette each with one as the Broncos led 7-0 after the first period and 11-1 after the second.
The Broncos’ excellent week wrapped up on Jan. 21 with a 19-6 win over Wynyard at the Elgar Petersen Arena.
Harder led the way offensively once again, this time scoring eight times, while Possberg added five, Hudson Armstrong four, and Zane Sand two as the Broncos led 9-1 after one and 17-5 after two.
Novice 4
It was a terrific week for the Novice 4 Broncos who picked up a dominating 10-1 win over Strasbourg on Jan. 20 in Strasbourg in the Broncos’ lone game of the week.
Kale Rintoul led the way offensively for the Broncos scoring four times, while Wyatt Meekins chipped in with a hat trick, and Abby Zimmerman, Cohen Jenkins, and Tyce Gyrmacheski each scored once as the Broncos led 2-0 after the first and 7-0 after the second.
