With the Battlefords North Stars continuing their winning ways, some more honours have been bestowed on the team.
The North Stars have climbed the latest CJHL national rankings up to third in the country. Also, once again a North Star player is included among the Players of the Week.
Noah Form was named Defenseman of the Week for contributing two goals and two assists in three Battlefords wins against La Ronge and Nipawin.
Form scored the overtime game winner against the Ice Wolves last Wednesday, had an assist on the tying goal versus Nipawin Friday at the Civic Centre, and got a tying goal and an assist on the game winner in the Saturday contest in Nipawin.
Other honors went to Jordan Guiney of Yorkton as Player of the Week, Zach Johnson of Kindersley as Goaltender of the Week and Spencer Kennedy of La Ronge as Rookie of the Week.
