After losing a tightly contested 4-2 game to Scotland's Hannah Fleming Thursday afternoon, the situation is simple for Robyn Silvernagle at the Pinty's Grand Slam of Curling's Tour Challenge Tier II event in Regina.

If her North Battleford based rink can defeat Regina's Chantelle Eberle at 9 a.m. Friday morning, she will be in the mix for a possible tiebreaker or playoff spot.

Otherwise, Silvernagle and third Jolene Campbell, second Dayna Demers and lead Kara Thevenot, will see their tournament come to an end.

Following Thursday's games, Silvernagle is in fourth place in the Pool C standings with a 1-3 record.

Binia Feltscher of Switzerland leads the group with a perfect 3-0 mark, Russia's Anna Sidorova is second at 2-1, Fleming sits in third at 2-2 and Eberle is at the bottom of the standings at 0-3.

The top eight teams in the 15-team field after the round-robin will earn spot in the quarter-finals, though tiebreaker games might take place to determine the final spots.

Heading into Friday's slate of games, Feltscher and American Jamie Sinclair are the only teams locked in to playoff spots, while Sidorova, Fleming, Calgary's Chelsea Carey, Saskatoon's Stefanie Lawton, Winnipeg's Kerri Einarson, South Korea's EunJung Kim and Calgary's Nadine Scotland.

Joining Silvernagle on the outside looking in are Saskatoon's Nancy Martin, American Nina Roth and Edmonton's Kelsey Rocque.

Only Eberle and Penny Barker's Moose Jaw based rink, which is being skipped this weekend by former Scotties champion Amber Holland, have been eliminated from the playoffs.
