Another season on the North Battleford Touch Football League, got started this week with the defending champions - the Rhinos ready to defend their title.

This year only seven teams are entered in the league with the potential for one or two teams playing in the tough football provincial playoffs at the end of the season.

Scorer reported from week one had the Razorbacks beating the Broncos 28-6, the Gophers and Huskies tying 6-6 and the Silver Bullets beating the Headhunters 19-14.

Three other games were scheduled, but no score were reported.

The season runs Tuesdays and Thursdays at Holy Family, the Centennial Field and Kinsmen Field into October with games scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
