The Battlefords North Stars will be playing in a new division for the 2013-14 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League season, although the teams aren't changing.
The SJHL announced in a news release on their website Tuesday the Central Division will be rebranded as the Kramer Division because of the company joining the league's corporate sponsors in a three-year agreement.
"We feel this is a very natural partnership as the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League and Kramer both have deep roots throughout the province," said Devin Wallin, marketing manager of Kramer Ltd., in the release. "We make it a priority to be involved in the communities where our employees and customers live, work, and play."
The Kindersley Klippers, Humboldt Broncos and Notre Dame Hounds make up the newly named Kramer Division along with the North Stars.
