Kyle Hall has been one of the league's best rookies this season and recently he was honoured for that as the SJHL's rookie of the Month for February.

The season may have come to an abrupt end, but for rookie forward Kyle Hall it will be great season to look back on.

Hall was named the SJHL's Rookie of the Month for February. The Assiniboia product helped the North Stars lock up fourth place in the Bauer Conference, as he tallied three goals and eight assists during the month.

While some of the North Stars' veterans were clawing their way out of slumps, Hall's offensive play was consistent all season and his defensive play didn't struggle either.

A strong skater, who is good at both ends of the ice, Hall capped off the season with 22 goals and 19 assists in 58 games, putting him fifth in SJHL rookie scoring. He was the North Stars' player of the month for October. He also earned an invitation to the Canadian Junior Hockey League's top prospects game in December.

Hall was the North Stars' nominee for SJHL Rookie of the Year, which will be announced later this month.

"I have got a lot of opportunities, it has been huge to be honoured like this," said Hall after being named the North Stars' rookie nominee in February.
