The Battlefords North Stars have announced they will be searching for a new athletic therapist and equipment manager in the off-season.

After two seasons serving in that capacity, Michelle Beatty will not be returning for the 2014-15 season.

"Michelle was instrumental in the success of our team the past two seasons," said coach and general manager Kevin Hasselberg. "Her professionalism, care for the players and work ethic will be missed by our team. She has established an effective blueprint for this position within our organization, which promises to make the transition for the new therapist efficient."

Beatty, from Burlington, Ont., joined the team at the end of Aug. 2012 for main camp. She came to the team highly recommended from the University of Guelph where she served as athletic therapist for the men's CIS hockey team.

"On behalf of the Battlefords North Stars, we would like to thank Michelle for all of her contributions to the organization and wish her continued success in her future pursuits," said the North Stars organization in a press release.
