There should be no shortage of depth at the forward position, as the Battlefords North Stars have signed another young forward.
Ken Pearson found a new guy in Newfoundland - Shayne Morrissey is a 1992-born forward from St. John's.
Morrissey play 61 games with St. Andrew's College in the Midwest Prep Hockey League and tallied 40 goals and 45 assists.
He led the league's Northeast Division in scoring.
Morrissey joins the list of newly recruited forwards over the summer, which includes Kyle Hall, Tim Rollins, Calder Neufeld, Colin Phaneuf and Tanner Schwab.
