The biggest question surrounding the Battlefords North Stars heading into next season will be answered Tuesday morning.

The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League team will be holding a press conference at the Civic Centre at 10 a.m. where they will be announcing their new head coach and general manager for the 2018-19 campaign.

Following a run to the semifinal this spring, the North Stars parted ways with head coach and general manager Brandon Heck in April.

Heck was hired in August to replace Nate Bedford, who left the position last June to become the head coach for the ACAC's Portage College Voyageurs in Lac La Biche, Alta.

Tuesday's announcement by the North Stars will leave just two coaching vacancies in the SJHL as the Humboldt Broncos and Notre Dame Hounds are currently searching for new bench bosses.

The Kindersley Klippers will also have a new head coach and general manager at the start of next year as Clayton Jardine was hired last month to replace Geoff Grimwood.

In other news, the North Stars will be having their annual general meeting on Monday, June 25 at the Gold Eagle Lodge meeting room at 7 p.m.
