The North Saskatchewan River Baseball League regular season is finished, which means it's playoff time.
The schedule kicked off Sunday when the North Battleford Beavers headed to Lloydminster to take on the Juniors in the first game of the three game series.
Game two of that series is at Beaver Lions Stadium in North Battleford on Wednesday. Game three, if needed, hasn't been determined.
The Beavers finished the season with an 8-6 record, sixth best in the league. The Juniors were third with a 9-5 record, so it's a close matchup.
The two clubs met once this season already, the Beavers won 10-9.
Along with the NSRBL playoffs, the Beavers also have two games in the provincial round robin zone playoffs. Thursday night they were in Wilkie to take on the Brewers. Tuesday night they're at home to take on the Border City Blue Jays.
The Meadow Lake Sox and Unity Cardinals kick off their series Monday. The Sox went 9-5 in the regular season, while Unity was right behind them, finishing 8-5-1.
Head-to-head, Meadow Lake won the lone game 4-0.
The Wilkie Brewers will have their work cut out for them in their series against the Lloydminster Twins, which starts Tuesday.
The 10-4 Twins finished second in the regular season standings, the 7-6-1 Brewers were seventh.
In the only matchup between the two clubs, the Twins won 11-5.
