The opening day of the North Saskatchewan River Baseball League was Tuesday and four teams were in action. In St. Walburg, the Reds fell 12-11 to the Unity Midgets.

The opening day of the North Saskatchewan River Baseball League was Tuesday and four teams were in action.

In St. Walburg, the Reds fell 12-11 to the Unity Midgets.

In Lloydminster, the Border City Blue Jays earned the 1-0 win over the Lloydminster Midget Twins. The Jays got six strong innings on the mound from Bryce Kochcan.

Wednesday evening, the North Battleford Beavers host the Meadow Lake White Sox at 7:30 p.m. and the Midwest Expos play the Lloydminster Junior Redhawks at 6:30 p.m. Thursday 10 teams will be in action.
