Four games remain in the Saskatchewan Prairie Hockey League and all but two teams know where they will be in the standings, while one playoff matchup is set.

The Battleford Beaver Blues clinched first place with a 4-2 win in Cut Knife Tuesday. The Beaver Blues scored an empty net goal late in the third period to seal the victory.

The Beaver Blues also beat Perdue Saturday by a 9-3 score. Daxin Collins had two goals and three assists, Scott Maunula had one goal and three assists and Martin Smith had a hat trick. Mitch Phillips, Les Taylor and Blaine Weber also scored for the Beaver Blues while Mitch Hawtin was in net for the win. Clark McNulty had two goals and an assist while Kevin Fick had the Gordie Howe hat trick with a goal, an assist and a fighting major.

The Beaver Blues will finish their regular season with a game in Hafford Saturday.

Battleford will earn the first round bye with a 14-2-0 record.

The Maymont Settlers head into the final weekend with a 13-3-0 record, which locks them into second place. The Settlers beat Perdue Tuesday 7-2, but were upset by Radisson Monday 6-0.

Nick Brand, Dana Derbowka, Tyrell Jonescu, Jonathan McIntosh, Troy Rookes and Brad Wanner all scored once for the Radisson Wheat Kings while Nathan Wurst earned the shutout.

Maymont was on the other end of a shutout Saturday, as they beat Hafford 10-0.

The Settlers also held off the Glaslyn North Stars Friday with a 4-2 win. Kinley Sevick led the offence for Maymont with two goals and an assist while Shane Chicoine was in the Settlers' net for the win.

Two days later, Glaslyn lost again, their third straight, a 7-4 defeat at the hands of Perdue at home. That loss locked the North Stars into third place in the standings with an 11-5-0 record. Glaslyn will play Perdue Saturday to wrap up the regular schedule.

Perdue is in the fourth spot in the standings with an 8-7-0 record. Radisson will face Perdue in the first round of the playoffs, as they are fifth in the standings with a 6-11-0 record.

The Wheat Kings were shut out once last week, as Ryan Knapton and the Hafford Mustangs beat Radisson 2-0. Todd Forbes and Ryan Scheafer scored for Hafford.

Radisson also lost to Cut Knife 7-4. Jordan Noble had four goals and an assist while Ryan Constant and Quentin Starchief each had one goal and three assists. Lorne Pewap had one goal and one assist for Cut Knife while goaltender Jesse MacDonald earned the win.

With the games this weekend, Hafford could catch Radisson in points if they win their final two games, but Radisson won two of the three regular season games and would earn the higher playoff spot through the tie breaker. Hafford is 4-11-0 on the season.

The only spot that could change in the standings would be between the sixth and seventh place teams. If the 4-12-0 Cut Knife Colts win their final game of the season against Maymont and Hafford loses their final two games, the Colts would jump into sixth and play Glaslyn in the first round. If that doesn't happen it will be Maymont against Cut Knife and Glaslyn against Hafford.
