For the second time this season, the New Horizons were out playing golf, but this time it was on Thursday rather than the usual Monday.
Even with a cool, windy day there were nine teams that took to the course with one group coming in at par. That was the foursome of Merv Zulynik, Nester Brunwald, Frank Simpson and Ralph Soiseth.
In second place, one stroke back, was the team of Bruce Dalsahug, Brodie Partington, Joe Gabruch and Rita Peterson. They won it on a count back over Don Dill, Brian Miller, Fred Tinio and Hank Nickel. A birdie did the trick. The consolation winners were Don Beggs, John Dove, Iris Thomson and Dick Blom.
Closest to the pin on number eight was Nester Brunwald, who beat out three others and he picks up a ball for that shot. Whereas the Co-Op car wash goes to Bruce Dalshaug for sinking a long thirty foot breaking putt on the final hole.
